Using tontine one can pay a peer, a bill, an insurance or a group of peers. Also a user can issue and or receive loans as well as make savings or withdrawals from savings.
The Tontine App contians a responsive graphical user interface to adequately present the services to the user, a wallet for managing funds, a ledger for recording transactions and a peer-to-peer connector for managing connections to peer nodes. Where applicable SmartContracts are implemented to automate the execution of transactions and enforce policies and agreements.
The ledger in association with the wallet and the p2p-connector will implement the inter ledger protocoland where applicable provide input to a connected private and/or public ledger.
The Tontine App is deployed (installed) on a processing node (e.g. the users mobile phone). For the App to function appropriately the node must be connected to the internet (Internet of People) and provide a redtoothpath to handle peer-to-peer connections.
